Athens Maternity Photographer: Lindsay And Daniel

As an Athens maternity photographer, I have the privilege of capturing one of the most memorable moments in a family’s life – the arrival of a new baby. Maternity photography is all about celebrating the beauty and miracle of pregnancy while preserving memories that will last a lifetime.

Lindsay is the sister of a dear friend in Savannah, Leslie Ciechanowski, a fellow artist and wedding industry pal. Lindsay and Daniel had originally booked me for their intimate wedding in November 2019 while I was pregnant. Then, Oslo was born early, the day or two before, and I could not photograph their day. Luckily, they are the sweetest, most understanding clients in the world and did not mind Martin stepping in. I was so excited when they returned to Georgia for a maternity session with me!

Matching Style for Lifestyle Session

As an Athens maternity photographer, I love to write about what to wear for your lifestyle sessions, so we loved it when Lindsay, Daniel, and their daughter looked so coordinated. They all wore shades of white, so they looked together but still distinct. Daniel wore a button-down shirt with brown slacks, while their daughter wore the prettiest dress.

She looked perfect next to Lindsay, who wore a lace gown that helped show off her bump. Later in the session, Lindsay changed into this gorgeous blue gown that had some drama to it. She looked amazing and elegant, and playing with the gown’s train in photos was fun.

Athens Maternity Session

Lindsay loves my editorial style and wanted some fab fashion photos, and I was happy to deliver them! Taking advantage of the scenery was a must. I love shooting in places like the Botanical Gardens because of all the greenery (but my absolute favorite spot is my studio in Athens!).

As we walked around, I captured candid moments between Lindsay and Daniel, as well as some sweet mother-daughter moments. It was clear how much love this family has for each other, and it was an honor to capture that on camera.
