The Best Money We Spent

“Izzy was the best money we spent. She builds real connections with her clients, and it makes the photography process so comfortable. On wedding day I felt confident that we would not miss any key photos because of her detailed planning. She also helped me set up the best wedding team in Savannah. I love that she is helping us bring our photos to life by getting them printed and making them a part of our home. We will forever be grateful for Izzy’s kind heart, beautiful photography, and incredible business. We will be her lifetime clients and friends.”

frequently asked questions

What is your pricing for wedding photography?

Our collections are tailored to fit your unique wedding day and photography vision.  Once you fill out our contact form, we will schedule a zoom consultation so that we can meet and go over all of the things.  During that time, I will help you navigate the options to build your dream collection.

Wedding commissions with Izzy begin at $9500.  Collections that include full weekend coverage + heirloom artwork range from $15k-20k.  Wedding commissions with an Associate begin at $5000.  Special pricing for elopements and intimate weddings is available.

How do I confirm my wedding date?

Please fill out the contact form on the website. Once we check our calendars to ensure availability, we will have you schedule a video consultation with us so that we can meet you and chat about your wedding.

What is your approach in capturing the wedding story?

Our team comes with expertise in both fashion photography and photojournalism, offering a unique approach to weddings. We love combining epic, editorial statement images with our fun, movement filled poses that feel easy, genuine, and natural. We anticipate the powerful, emotional moments that will produce the images you return to year after year. We allow a wedding day to unfold naturally, but we also understand that weddings require a master director. We will set you up for success every part of your wedding day to ensure your moments are being captured in the most exquisite way.

How do you ensure that you stay on schedule during the day?

Because your timeline is so important to us, we build your wedding day timeline on your very first inquiry consultation! It is critical to allow enough time for the magic to happen and to create a stress free and fun atmosphere, so that you can simply enjoy each other and your guests. We will schedule your portraits and key events to happen in the prettiest light and walk you through exactly what to expect. Leading up to wedding day, we will work closely with your planner in finalizing a more detailed timeline that sets you up for success! On the wedding day, our carefully buffered timing allows for moments to unfold without stress, and we gently keep everyone on track when needed.

Do you offer videography?

We do not offer videography, but we love working with videographers and have a list of our favorites we can send you!

What equipment do you use?

We use Canon’s mirrorless system along with an arsenal of the highest quality lenses + lighting. We bring back up gear to every wedding should anything go wrong with our main equipment.

Do you have business license and insurance?

Oh yes! Any vendor you partner with should be a licensed professional and should be operating with insurance. We carry equipment insurance and liability insurance.

What happens if you can’t shoot my wedding?

We take our role as your wedding photographer very seriously and honor the contracts we sign. We take great care, as it regards to our health and schedules, to ensure that we can perform our duties on your wedding day. However, emergencies and accidents can arise. In the case that your photographer cannot physically be at your wedding, an equally capable and trusted photographer would be provided - we have a strong network to aid in such an unlikely circumstance.

Do you work with a second shooter?

We require a second shooter, unless your wedding is considered “intimate” – meaning a guest count of 80 or less, or a wedding party of 3 members each or less.

How many images will we get?

We believe in giving you a masterfully curated selection of the best images from your wedding day. A collection that fully tells your story and provides you with every magical moment that happened, without overwhelming you with way more images than you need. In short, you will get the best frames from every moment of the day. You can expect to receive about 50-75 images per hour of coverage.

Do these images include retouching,  color adjustment or other corrective services? Is there an additional fee for these services?

Our editing includes basic exposure and color correction, in our bright, true to color style. Individual images that you order as prints or wall art, or those you’ve selected to appear in an album layout will receive a final image inspection which includes blemish removal, basic removal of distractions from the background, straightening or cropping. We do not alter bodies. Our preference is for all images to look natural and, any adjustments we make are minimal, leaving your photographs looking clean and beautiful. For more extensive requests, we will outsource to a professional retoucher and bill accordingly.

What are image turnaround times?

You can expect images from an engagement session within 3-4 weeks. And you can expect images from your wedding day within 6-8 weeks.

Should I make a "shot list" of my desired photos?

Our 15 years shooting weddings has afforded us the expertise to not require a “shot list” on wedding day. Additionally, we send a questionnaire 2 months before your wedding day to obtain all the details we will need to know to successfully photograph your wedding. Sections will include listing out meaningful details, special people, or unique moments that we may not otherwise know about, as well as your family formal portrait lists.

What happens if it rains? What if we have to reschedule due to an Act of God, like a natural disaster or government shutdowns?

While it hasn’t happened often, we have had to navigate a rainy day wedding. This is where our experience, expertise and ability to adapt our timeline quickly will really pay off. We will work closely with your planner to create a successful Plan B or Plan C, and ensure we create magical images no matter the circumstance!

In the unfortunate case of an Act of God event, we have created a set of rescheduling policies to ensure our clients are given reasonable opportunity to reschedule their event without penalty. In these cases, remember, we are your partner and your friend.

Do you travel outside of Georgia?

Yes! We have photographed weddings across the globe – in England, Ireland, Spain, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Hawaii, just to name a few! Our clients reimburse us for travel / accommodations associated with engagement sessions or weddings outside of the ATL, Savannah, HHI and Golden Isles areas.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Clients typically book a year or more in advance, especially for Saturdays, and our prime seasons (Spring and Fall). However, our calendars usually allow for “last minute” bookings for elopements and intimate celebrations, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
