Elizabeth & Jolly – An “old fashioned” Savannah engagement

I can’t tell you how excited I am about these two people here.  Pretty much the sweetest, coolest, most genuine and funny folks you’ll find around, I’m pretty lucky to have them as friends.  Many of you may know Elizabeth – one half of the magic makers behind Satchel – a brilliant local leather goods boutique in Savannah where you can have anything custom made from a gorgeous handbag to wallet to koozie to gun case.  If you aren’t yet familiar, then what are you doing!? GO NOW!  And if you are local to Savannah, you may also be lucky enough to know Jolly – this kid will light up your life with his jokes and mischievous smile – I’m pretty sure anyone who knows these two can agree that they’re pretty darn special.

So it goes without saying that they made me feel pretty darn special when they chose me to document this part of their love story.  These two love the South and the water in particular so we knew we had to begin their engagement session exploring the marsh and Lowcountry landscape, champagne in hand.  Shep, their dog, also had to come, duh.

 

Elizabeth & Jolly also have a shared appreciation for classic Southern style, a minimalist aesthetic, a good glass of bourbon and of course, a bowtie.  We celebrated all of these things by visiting our favorite spots in downtown Savannah.

Congratulations Elizabeth & Jolly – I cannot wait for your amazing wedding in Louisiana next month, wheeeeeee!!!
