Lindsay is the sister of a dear friend in Savannah, Leslie Ciechanowski, a fellow artist and wedding industry pal. Lindsay and Daniel had originally booked me for their intimate wedding back in November 2019 while I was pregnant. Then, Oslo was born early, the day or two before, and I could not photograph their day. Luckily, they are the sweetest, most understanding clients in the world and did not mind Martin stepping in. I was so excited when they returned to Savannah to do a Bluff Drive maternity session with me!
We love to write about what to wear for your lifestyle sessions, so we loved when Lindsay, Daniel, and their daughter looked so coordinated. They all wore shades of white, so they looked together but still distinct. Daniel wore a button-down shirt with brown slacks while their daughter wore the prettiest dress. She looked perfect next to Lindsay, who wore a lace gown that helped show off her bump. Later in the session, Lindsay changed into this gorgeous blue gown that really had some drama to it. She looked amazing and elegant, and it was fun to play with the gown’s train in photos.
Lindsay loves my editorial style and wanted some fab fashion photos, and I was happy to deliver! We first shot at Bluff Drive on Isle of Hope, which is one of my favorite spots to shoot family sessions. It’s a waterfront community with beautiful views and massive trees that make for great backdrops. We took advantage of all the different backgrounds on Isle of Hope before ending up on the causeway out to Burnside Island, a secret little cutie photo spot! I just love the palm trees and long street.
Family sessions are always a joy, and I love how Lindsay’s Bluff Drive maternity session turned out. It’s such a pleasure to be a part of documenting a family’s life. If you love Lindsay’s photos and you’re looking for your own family photographer, say hello! I always love meeting new families!
