Kim & Blane – Driftwood Beach Engagement Session on Jekyll Island

Kim and Blaine’s Driftwood Beach engagement session was absolutely gorgeous. Driftwood Beach, on Jekyll Island, is one of the most romantic beaches in America, and is stunning even on a cloudy day. As a Savannah and Athens Wedding Photographer, Jekyll Island is a short drive away, and I love to shoot weddings and engagement sessions there! There are so many places to explore on the island for your wedding, with plenty of space for great pictures. It’s a coastal hideaway, not far from Savannah. In fact, I recently did a maternity session on Jekyll Island, and it was incredible! I highly recommend Driftwood Beach for your engagement, wedding, maternity, or even a family session.

One of the best parts about Driftwood Beach and Jekyll Island is you can have your dogs there! I love when a couple incorporates their pets into their shoots, especially since they are your family. Kim and Blane brought both of their dogs to the shoot and got some of the sweetest pictures with them. Hannah is also a huge dog lover, so this was so fun for her!

Sometimes it can be hard to have your furry friend at your wedding. But an engagement session is a perfect solution. It allows you to get pictures with your pets, without having to worry about who is taking care of them on your wedding day.
