Hooray for sweet couples and adorable weddings!
I hit it off immediately with Elizabeth and Martin, because, well duh – we totally have the same names! It was sort of meant to be. And I’m so glad because these two couldn’t get any sweeter or more adorably in love. And they had the best wedding party + friends EVER. I wish they lived here so I could adopt all their amazing friends. (I’m coming to visit!)
The day started at the gorgeous Bohemian hotel in downtown Savannah where the ladies primped and I got to play with Elizabeth’s beautiful bridal details. Elizabeth chose her invitations from Forever Fiancés, a great company that offers 100% recycled, green invites that have embedded wildflower or herb seeds so guests can plant them! Coolest ever.
My favorite thing was this heirloom necklace that Elizabeth wore in her hair as her “something blue.”
How dapper are these gents?
I love it when couples choose the Fragrant Garden in Forsyth Park for their ceremony because it offers a level of privacy that the fountain or nearby squares do not. Elizabeth made sure there were lots of charming details – love the fabric streamers!
The reception took place in cute 10 Downing above Churchill’s Pub. I love this space – but be sure to also reserve the outside patio for better dancing & privacy for your guests!
Lots of handmade details sweetened the ambiance & provided guests with fun activities during dinner.
Elizabeth & Martin splurged on a fab band that kept the party hoppin’. These guys were excellent!!
Elizabeth & Martin – thank you again and again for choosing me as your photographer – y’all are so kind of loving and I’m so happy to know you and your dear friends. And really, when can I come visit?!
