My last wedding of 2013 was Michelle & Ryan’s sweet and Southern Fall wedding and I could not have asked for a better way to end the year. These two were beyond sweet and so excited to have me on board that I just couldn’t help giggling with them all day and sharing in their tender moments. Both their families and all their friends were amazing and its great to see so much love surrounding a couple!
I started the day with Ryan as he got ready at the 17Hundred90 Inn – a special place for the couple as they spend many an evening hanging out together in its restaurant and bar.
I do love a man who knows how to work a bowtie!Michelle primped with her ladies in her home, which is one of those little apartments in Savannah that you lust for – interior brick walls and all.We took advantage of the surrounding squares and streets for some pretty bridal portraits before heading to the ceremony. If you are considering on having a Savannah square ceremony, I would urge you to consider those on the East side – they are so much more serene and private. The ceremony was heart felt and full of sweet southern details.Guests immediately enjoyed a champagne toast in the square. I loved this as it allowed me to capture hugs, laughs and casual guests portraits out in the lovely light. We made sure to get some photos under their favorite tree. I do love personal requests like these, so much more meaningful! These two are probably my faves from the day, especially this black and white of their embrace – too sweet for words.Michelle and Ryan chose Vic’s on the River for their reception, which is a lovely venue for smaller parties that overlooks the river.Ryan and his momma were the best – love this shot of them dancing!Michelle and Ryan – thank you SO MUCH for having me be a part of your sweet wedding day. You two are so genuinely good and I am lucky to now call you friends. A drink at 17Hundred90 is in order!
