Arlette & Juan – Old Fort Jackson Wedding

I’m super excited to show off Arlette and Juan’s colorful Spring wedding at Fort Jackson! These two were seriously a blessing to work with – they exude happiness, are so sweet and thoughtful, were the BEST to work with and have become great friends!  Love them!

I started the day with Arlette and her ladies.

Primping and preppy is hard work – good thing Jens and Friends opens early! Martinis were in order!Meanwhile, Martin hung out with the guys and caught all of their super hero shenanigans!…..and then they transformed into super dapper gentlemen.The ceremony and reception took place at Fort Jackson, one of my favorite venues.  The day couldn’t have been more beautiful!Simply Savannah Events added bright pops of pink and purple and personal touches!This was one of the most heartfelt ceremonies I’ve witnessed – I can’t get enough of these two’s huge smiles and when a groom tears up, it gets me every time!Arlette has the most loving and hugging-est family ever – It makes me smile!Fort Jackson offers such a lovely backdrop for portraits – I can’t get enough of it!Love the romantic feel of these two.A canon was set off to celebrate the wedding and to signal the start of the reception – Arlette and Juan changed into Mr. and Mrs. Converse – LOVE!You know I’m a sucker for touches of vintage charm!With lots of latin folks around, the dancing was a plenty!  Arlette’s mom looked and danced like a rock star!

Arlette and Juan –  I think I’ve thanked you a hundred times, but THANK YOU again for allowing us to be a part of your wedding!  We feel so lucky to have you now as friends – y’all are so sweet and thoughtful and your laughter is infectious!  We look forward to many more nights at Jens and Friends!
