Rustic Winter Wedding – The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill – Asheville

French Knot Studios and I used an invitation from the Rustic Revival collection at Wedding Paper Divas to dream up a cozy inspiration shoot for a Fall or Winter wedding.  The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill in Asheville, NC was the perfect spot for its rustic charm.  We began with the soft minty hues of the “first frost” and then added warmth with seasonal reds and greens. As a wedding photographer, I love being able to shoot destination weddings!

Candlelight and vintage teacups create an ethereal ceremony inside the chapel and then a gorgeous table is laid for dinner.  Wooden slab chargers and antique china keep with the rustic nature of the venue while the handmade butterfly cloches add a touch of whimsy.  If you’re a DIYer, consider creating paper houses with family names on them to mark where people sit.   Finally, move outside for lawn games, a lounge area and the most delicious “cheese cake.” At the end of the evening, ride away on a cute vintage bike adorned with pretty flowers.
