Shannon & Steve – Whitefield Square + Savannah Station Wedding

I can’t say enough about Shannon and Steve.  We bonded over our love for good beer when we had our initial meeting and I immediately fell in love with these cool Brooklyn kids.  I have to say I’m a little sad that they’re wedding is over and now they’re back in NY very far away.  Thank goodness for facebook so we can still be friends ;)

Shannon and Steve visited Savannah on their 2nd anniversary and fell in love with its charm – they returned with all of their closest family & friends for their amazing wedding.  From start to finish, Shannon and Steve were incredibly thoughtful, sweet, fun and this carried through to every aspect of their wedding.  Not only did I thoroughly enjoy documenting Shannon & Steve’s crazy love for each other – but I also adored all of their family, friends and especially their sweet wedding party.  Everyone was perfect.

I started the day photographing Shannon’s charming details – I was especially smitten with her Twigs and Honey headpiece and the darling totes she gifted her maids.

Wendy Wells helped me for the day and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had her!  She is hysterical and a damn fine photographer – she hung with the guys.

Shannon and Steve opted to do a First Look, which I love.  Especially, when the grooms give me this sweetness. Love him.

Their pup, Rusty, held the key role of ring bearer.

The ceremony took place in beautiful Whitefield Square in downtown Savannah – the ladies at Ivory & Beau added just the right amount of charming details.

Shannon and Steve travel A LOT – another reason why we got along so well!  Showing off their adventures was the perfect way to personalize and decorate their reception.  Each table represented a different favorite place and included a fun photo of the couple.  Guests found their seats by travel inspired escort cards.

Shannon & Steve – words cannot express how lucky I was to have been your wedding photographer – y’all were so awesome and I’m so glad that we’re now friends! I cannot wait to come visit in Brooklyn and I sure do hope you let me know next time you’re in Georgia!!
