Skidaway Island State Park Engagement Session

Erica and Khaled are a fun and loving couple, and recently, we shot their outdoor engagement session. For their location, they chose Skidaway Island State Park, which is always a good choice. I had such an enjoyable time with Erica and Khaled shooting their engagement session, and I’m happy to be able to show it to you! Every minute of this engagement session was fun! These two are some of the most joyous people I’ve ever met, and it was so much fun capturing these two. They spent the whole session laughing, giggling and cuddling up close.

Skidaway Island Engagement Session

Skidaway Island is a great option for any photo session because it has so many unique backdrops to choose from. It’s near Historic Savannah and borders Skidaway narrows. There are miles and miles of trails with tons of scenic backgrounds. There are many different types of trees and greenery, including live oaks and Spanish moss, which you know I love! We definitely took advantage of this for Erica and Khaled’s session. From the live oaks to palm trees, there were many beautiful places for photos.

We started on the trails at first before going just off the beaten path to find a downed tree that made for a fun photo spot. Don’t worry; we went back to the trails after! The last thing you want is to get lost. Then, we really took our time walking through what Skidaway Island State Park had to offer. Not to mention, I loved spending time with Erica and Khaled. They’re clearly so in love, and you can see how much they enjoy each other’s company in the photos. Erica also had such great style and brought along her favorite hat for the session. I always tell my couples to bring along some accessories, since we can really play and have fun with them.

Their wedding is on April 30th at Perry Lane, and I’m so excited! It’ll be wonderful to see this amazing couple get married, and I can’t wait to share their wedding with you!
