When Southern Bride put out a call for state inspired wedding shoots, French Knot Studios and I stepped to the plate. Not wanting to do the overdone “peach”, we armed ourselves with other Georgia icons such as honey, peanuts and cotton and let our color palette of peaches, corals and pinks give nod to the state’s famous fruit. Miss Wyolene looked to the honey bee for inspiration for these wonderful invitations. The hexagonal shape of the honey comb gives them a modern edge that we love!
French Knot Studios proposes to include a blank card in your invitations on which guests can write a sweet sentiment or well wish. The card would then be returned with the RSVP so that you could line your ceremony aisle, doubling for beautiful decor!
Harvey Designs created this stunning bouquet in brilliant pinks, reds and corals.
I adore the back on this lovely blush gown from Bleubelle Bridal.
Per the request of French Knot Studios, Harvey Designs created this embroidery hoop installation masterpiece. What a clever way to add DIY decor to your reception!
Provide refreshment for your guests with an iced tea bar complete with fresh fruits and herbs to make your tea extra delicious!
Repeat the hexagonal shape by adding fun drink stirrers!
Your guests will love a local gift – we chose Savannah Honey from Savannah Bee Company and Peanut Roll candies from Byrd’s Cookie Company.
Natasha Gaskill of A Squad Bake Shop created the most delicious peanut butter cake topped with fresh honeycomb.
