Alan and Ralph had a beautiful wedding at Whitefield Chapel, in Savannah Georgia. Whitefield Chapel is one of the most popular wedding locations in Savannah, just outside historic Savannah. The Chapel has wooden pews, herringbone brick floors, and stunning windows that add in plenty of light. It is on the grounds of Bethesda Academy and features sweeping oak trees covered in Spanish moss. Beyond the trees, there are marsh views, that are incredible at sunset. Bethesda is a great place for an outdoor wedding since there is plenty of space for large tents, steps away from Whitefield Chapel. In other words, it is picturesque, and oh so southern.
As a wedding photographer, it is an honor to shoot every wedding, no matter the couple. I am proud to be a same-sex wedding friendly wedding photographer, and love diversity! Furthermore, Savannah is one of the top wedding destinations and is LGBTQ friendly.
Alan and Ralph wore complimenting suits, in gray and navy. They even had their suits lined in NYC pictures, for a custom touch! Before the ceremony, we walked around the grounds to get portraits of the couple.
After their Whitefield Chapel ceremony, their reception was on the grounds of Bethesda. The reception was furnished with vintage rentals from Savannah Vintage Rentals, with plenty of seating. Additionally, the decor colors were creams, soft blues, and deep emerald, which was perfect for a winter wedding. Instead of a white cake, they chose a chocolate one that featured their favorite things: their dogs, and Lois Vuitton. The evening was filled with tons of laughter, fun, and dancing. It was such a joy to capture!
