Audrey & Quinton – Colorful DIY Wedding – Avia Hotel

December 20, 2012

I was so honored and excited to shoot Audrey and Quinton’s wedding back in March.  After having worked with Audrey of French Knot Weddings on a few projects, I just knew her wedding wouldn’t be anything short of super colorful and super fabulous – she made nearly everything herself!!

Everything took place at the Avia Hotel in Savannah, GA.  Having everything happen in one location in music to this girl’s ears.  Martin and I did it and it truly makes for a stress and problem free day!

Audrey did her entire invitation suite herself including the letterpressing, envelope lining and construction.  No detail was left undone.Madame Chrysanthemum of course did the bouquet – the biggest bouquet I’ve ever seen full of bright oranges and yellows and whimsical details like mushrooms and butterflies. While the girls primped, the guys started on Quinton.  Audrey made him custom suspenders featuring his favorite team. The wedding arch was adorned with fabric pinwheels and tabletops with felt billy balls.Audrey also made her flower girl and ring bearer’s outfits.Ellis square at sunset provided the perfect backdrop for some portraits!Guests found their seat by little “Q&A” books with triva about the couple – haha, get it!?Her handmande table numbers were one of my favorite details. The kids table had tons of candy and coloring activities to keep them happy.Audrey and Quinton – I had so much fun at your wedding.  I have loved so much getting to know y’all over the past year! And I can’t wait to see what other fun projects Audrey and I scheme up next!
