If you are a fan of beautiful oak trees, and sunset peeking through Spanish Moss, you are going to swoon over this engagement session! Kelly and Andrew had the most beautiful backdrop for their engagement session – her family’s property! Kelly’s family owns Beaulieu Plantation, which is just south of Savannah. This beautiful area is right on the water and offers some incredible sunsets. It’s on Burnside Island, which is a secluded island but is just a few miles away from Historic Savannah.
We started the shoot at the plantation, where the azaleas were in bloom! There are so many beautiful oak trees around the property, and some we could even climb! The couple chose two different outfits for their session. The first half of the session was more formal, with Andrew in a button-down, and Kelly in a dress. I just love how Kelly added a jean jacket to her look!
For the second half of their engagement shoot, we headed to the road that leads to Burnside Island. There are docks off the road, that made for some amazing sunset pictures. The couple changed into a more comfortable outfit, with Andrew wearing his favorite hat. I must say, Kelly has the best shoe collection! From her 70’s inspired wooden heels for her first outfit, and wedges for with her jeans. She has such a great style!
I am so excited for this couple’s wedding this September! It is taking place at Beaulieu Plantation, and I know it is going to be absolutely stunning.
