Blair and Andrew were originally going to have a Paris wedding. But after rescheduling and replanning their wedding three times due to Covid, they finally decided to have a Piedmont Park elopement. It was such a dreamy wedding, and I’m so excited to show it to you.
I just have to say: Blair wore the most gorgeous gown by Martina Liana. It was effortlessly glamorous with a little touch of bohemian and a little bit of sparkle. The low back had beautiful, beaded straps, and the train was to die for.
Piedmont Park is right in downtown Atlanta, and it’s one of my favorite spots for portraits, especially engagement sessions.
Since the couple opted for a Piedmont Park elopement, they chose the nearby Four Seasons Hotel as their getting ready and reception space! The hotel is just a few blocks from the park, which made it easy to get back and forth. Blair and Andrew had their first look inside the hotel, and then we just walked over to the ceremony site.
For the elopement, they just had five guests in order to keep it intimate and personal. While they were disappointed to cancel their Paris wedding, they were so excited to finally elope!
After their ceremony, we walked around Piedmont Park to get some bride and groom portraits. With an incredible train like Blair’s, I knew I wanted to find some stairs! It really let us get gorgeous shots of her gown and all of that incredible detail. After their portraits, they headed back to the Four Seasons for an intimate dinner.
People often think that elopements have to be casual, but Blair and Andrew show they can be black tie as well. The couple wanted their intimate Piedmont Park elopement to still be an elegant and luxurious affair, and they succeeded. I was so happy to be a part of their wonderful day.
