Caitlin & Hannah – Jekyll Island Engagement Session

I absolutely love shooting on Jekyll Island, especially when its with two people in love! Caitlin reached out to me because she was planning a surprise proposal to her girlfriend, Hannah during their vacation on Jekyll Island. Jekyll holds a very special place in her heart since it’s where she spent her childhood vacations with family. I was so excited to shoot the proposal! But, upon my arrival, I learned she couldn’t wait and popped the question early. How cute!

Jekyll Island Sunset Shoot

We still had so much fun playing all over the island together, and getting some beautiful portraits. We started out Downtown, close to sunset for the perfect golden light. There are gorgeous oak trees everywhere, mixed with palm trees and lots of Spanish moss. I loved that they were so open to the adventure, and even hopped on some trees for pictures! After, we went to the beach, where there are some super cool driftwood, which made the perfect backdrop. The lighting was just right and made for a soft glow. Caitlin and Hannah are SO in love, and it shows in each and every picture! I just love each and every photo of these two!
