Alyssa & Chris – Chapel Hill Wedding at Fearrington Village

Alyssa and Chris’s summer wedding at Fearrington Village was every book lovers’ dream! These two made sure to incorporate their love of reading throughout. As the two always say to each other, “I love you more than books!” The couple chose Fearrington Village for the venue, a gorgeous venue right outside of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This historic dairy farm has multiple spaces, including various gardens, and a large barn. They also have coffee shops and a book store, right on site! This was perfect for the couple since we were able to get portraits inside the book store after the ceremony. I love it when couples take the time to get portraits at a cute spot, especially when it means a lot to them!

Summer Wedding at Fearrington Village

Amanda at A Swanky Affair did the planning, and made sure every detail was taken care of! I worked with Amanda and her team for Auriel and Bobby’s wedding, which was at Northridge Country Club. They are my go-to planner when I shoot weddings in the Raleigh-Chapel Hill area! The couple chose a palette of red and blue, perfect for their summer affair. Fearrington Village has its own on-site florist, who made sure to add lots of red touches throughout, including a huge red bouquet for Alyssa!

Their reception was in the barn, with soft grays and blues. One of the loveliest touches was their book exchange! They asked guests to bring books to exchange with one another, and it was such a great touch. The love Alyssa and Chris have for each other is so pure and so sweet! They couldn’t stop holding hands and snuggling up together.

As Alyssa told me, “I’m looking forward to laughing every day for the rest of our lives. I’m anticipating that my career will be stressful, and I’m looking forward to coming home to Chris every day. He’s such a calming presence for me.” Congratulations, you two!
