Kat and Josh’s sweet wedding is a perfect example of DIY done right. You don’t need a big budget to throw a lovely and personal wedding – this wedding is oozing with so much cuteness and pretty and Kat & Josh are such sweet, genuine folks – I feel completely lucky that I had the honor of documenting it!
All the festivities took place and Kat & Josh’s home church, The Seed. While not always possible, I do love when everything is in one place on wedding day.
Kat’s laughter is completely and utterly infectious. She had me either cracking up or close to tears all day.Kat and Josh chose to do a First Look which I personally think can be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding. When else do you get a private moment together? Or such sweet photos?Favorite.Another favorite……there’s too many.Lauriel Bradley did an amazing job as always with hair and makeup.Everywhere I looked, they had so many cute little details. I always prefer seeing bridesmaids in different dresses. It adds so much more visual appeal and allows your maids to choose a dress that fits their unique styles or personalities.Kat designed all of her paper goods and made the fabric ceremony backdrop. Basically, she’s a photographer’s dream.Probably my favorite DIY project was the flower girl banners. How cute are these!!??Ok, ok, THESE are my favorites!I just loved finding all of the handmade goodness – the burlap table runners, plethora of desserts made by family, fabric bunting and photobooth.Kat & Josh – a million thanks for giving me a sneak peek into your lives and allowing me to document the start of yours together. Your love and faith are inspiring!
