Downtown Savannah Engagement Session

Joshua and Antonio are having a destination wedding in Costa Rica where Antonio is from, but they decided to do an engagement session in Joshua’s hometown of Savannah. They live in DC together, but they visit Savannah often since Joshua’s family still lives here. I loved meeting them and getting to shoot their downtown Savannah engagement session!

Modern Engagement Session in Savannah

Joshua and Antonio’s downtown Savannah engagement session was so much fun. We got to create some cool vibey photos downtown with its infamous architecture, and we even got some neat double exposures! In downtown Savannah, you have a combination of the amazing foliage Savannah has to offer and the brick buildings that make for a great background. This meant an incredible photoshoot for Joshua and Antonio with lots of variety. There are just so many amazing places in Savannah that make for a great backdrop for photos!

Rooftop Bar Engagement Photos

After taking pictures downtown, we headed to The Alida Hotel’s rooftop bar, The Lost Square. This is one of my favorite rooftop bars in Savannah since you get an incredible view of the city and the River. The furniture has a cool art deco meets coastal vibe, and their cocktails are delicious! It’s the perfect spot for pictures since we can get some really cool backdrops and let you two enjoy a cold drink!

I absolutely loved shooting Joshua and Antonio’s downtown Savannah engagement session. Their photos came out absolutely amazing, and I just loved the vibe and intimacy between this couple. They were so much fun, and I’m glad I got to spend the day with them. I wish them all the best at their Costa Rica destination wedding!
