Dramatic Blue and Yellow Wedding Inspiration

Last year, Audrey of French Knot Studios and I were charged with creating a blue and yellow wedding inspiration shoot for the Spring issue of Savannah Weddings Magazine.  Knowing that we wanted to present this popular color scheme in a more interesting way, we chose softer shades like butter yellow and sea foam blue.  We channeled Marie Antionette for a dramatic and editorial flair.  Armed with a sparkly Hayley Paige from Bleubelle Bridal and lots of vintage goodies from Lillian’s China and Savannah Vintage Rentals, Audrey created a scene to tickle your fancy.  There you’ll find an opulent floral tablescape, couture jewels and a gorgeous handpainted cake.

While putting a swan on a bride’s head may not be everyone’s cup of tea, we love to treat our inspiration shoots like runway shows. Giving brides to be a bit of fantasy from which to pull some inspiration for her own special day.  I hope you get lost in one of my favorite shoots we’ve done together!
