Engagement Session with Sail Savannah

Since Caroline and Brandon just got married this past Saturday at the Cathedral of St John & Knights of Columbus (my first wedding of the year!), I wanted to share their engagement session with Sail Savannah this week. Being a wedding photographer, I just love when couples chose a different and fun location for their engagement session. We’ve worked on sailboat engagement sessions before, and they’re always a blast!

Sail Savannah Engagement Session

Sail Savannah is an amazing company that helps you explore the waters of Savannah for your perfect engagement session. Your session starts in Wilmington, which is close to downtown, and weather permitting, you can customize your private charter to where you want to go. The water makes for a gorgeous backdrop to your session, while the sailboat adds charm to your photos. During their engagement session, Caroline and Brandon enjoyed a small charcuterie board, champagne, and each other’s company. As we sailed around Savannah, I worked to capture the love that was so evident between them.

Coordinated Engagement Session Outfits

When it came to their attire, I loved how Brandon kept mostly to neutral colors while Caroline brought the pops of color. They had two outfits for their engagement session. For their first outfit, Caroline sported a white dress with dark pink shoes that added a touch of whimsy to their photos. Then, Caroline changed into a velvet navy dress while Brandon wore a white button-down and black slacks. Caroline also brought a blue and red bridal bouquet tied with a navy ribbon that added color to her outfit. Altogether, they looked so classic!

It was a wonderful afternoon with Sail Savannah, and I love how Caroline and Brandon’s photos came out!
