Fall Family Session at UGA Botanical Gardens

Whitney Downs is the owner and mastermind behind Whitewood Events. I photographed her sweet family last Fall and held on to them to share for this season. We did their Fall family session at UGA Botanical Gardens here in Athens. I absolutely love shooting at UGA Botanical Gardens from engagement sessions to family sessions to maternity sessions. The gardens are gorgeous, and there are tons of different backdrops to choose from. It was the perfect place to photograph Whitney with her husband and adorable two daughters.

Fall Family Session at UGA

Fall is such a beautiful time in Athens. While it is still warm, the leaves start to change into beautiful shades of gold and red. It makes for the perfect time of year for family sessions! The colors were so beautiful, and it helped make the photos of Whitney’s family absolutely gorgeous. We made sure to get all the pairings throughout the photoshoot as well as some great shots of Whitney by herself. My favorite shots are of Whitney and her daughters! They all look so beautiful.

Fall Photoshoot Outfits

For their fall family session at UGA, the family wanted to really bring in the cozy fall vibes with cute outfits! Whitney and her daughter both wore marigold dresses with boots. Dad wore a gray sweater with jeans, and their younger daughter wore a navy floral dress. It was such a beautiful complement to the bright gold leaves in the backdrop. As a family together, they looked perfect!

Fall is the perfect time for a family session in Athens. The colors are amazing, and you can wear those cozy outfits. Plus, as school starts back up, it’s so important to document this time.
