I loved this fall family session in Athens at the UGA Botanical Gardens. The gardens are gorgeous, and there are many different backdrops. Whitney Downs is the owner and mastermind behind Whitewood Events.

I photographed her sweet family last Fall and held on to them to share for this season. We did their fall family session at UGA Botanical Gardens here in Athens, and boy, did it turn out perfect.

Fall is such a beautiful time in Athens. While it is still warm, the leaves change into gorgeous shades of gold and red. It makes for the perfect time of year for family sessions! The colors were so beautiful, and it helped make the photos of Whitney’s family absolutely gorgeous.

We made sure to get all the pairings throughout the photo shoot and some great shots of Whitney by herself. My favorite shots are of Whitney and her daughters! They all look so beautiful.

What Should I Wear To A Fall Family Session In Athens?

For their fall family session at UGA, the family wanted to bring in the cozy fall vibes with cute outfits! Whitney and her daughter both wore marigold dresses with boots. Dad wore a gray sweater with jeans, and their younger daughter wore a navy floral dress. The bright gold leaves in the backdrop were such a beautiful complement. As a family, they looked perfect!
