I am so excited to share these images with you because it was definitely one of my favorite days of 2015. My sweet friends, Ben and Sarah, eloped in Ellijay, a sleepy little mountain town in North Georgia, with only two of their very closest friends as witnesses. It had become a tradition for these four friends to retreat once a year to nature for a couple’s weekend, so it was only fitting for Ben and Sarah to choose one such “holiday” to elope.
The day started with bloody marys, sweet dance moves and a yummy breakfast in jammies. We then set to work to decorate a beautiful table with wine boxes, loose stems of varying pinks and vintage glassware. I love Sarah’s perfect look of a cozy sweater and blush tulle skirt, complete with ALLLLLLLLLLL the rose gold accessories, including a custom wrap bracelet from our fave Satchel in Savannah.
After a sweet First Look and a few portraits, we moved to the riverfront to get them married! Everyone spoke, everyone cried and it was really really amazing. A few amazing portraits and glasses of champagne later, we found ourselves playing in the river – working up our appetites for an amazing home-cooked meal. Ben and Sarah, it means the whole wide world to me that you chose me to document your sweet secret elopement! I love you both!
