Even pre-Covid, Liz and Jared always leaned towards an intimate wedding. They felt they wanted to focus on each other during the wedding as opposed to a large guest list. Their wedding was a gorgeous fall wedding at Sea Island, and I absolutely loved getting to work with them. They chose Sea Island because they wanted a destination wedding and a venue where the beauty spoke for itself. They couldn’t have chosen better than Sea Island!
Liz looked absolutely stunning! She wore Amerie by Suzanne Neville, and it looked amazing on her. The dress features a drop waist A-line and a full skirt as well as a V neckline that adds an elegant touch to her look.
Her bridal bouquet was so unique and special! Since her bridal muse was Kate Middleton, she carried a tiny bouquet of lily of the valley just like Kate did. She wrapped the bouquet in sage velvet to carry the wedding’s color through her bouquet.
My favorite detail was Liz’s sapphire ring, which came from her grandmother. It represented her something blue and something borrowed.
Liz and Jared got married at the Cloister Chapel, a location where I love to photograph. The couple was really inspired by the green colors throughout the Cloister, which is why they chose sage green as their wedding color.
They used the outside patio of the Beach Club for their al fresco dinner reception, and it was divine. The table was covered in a green and white leaf patterned linen, which added the perfect amount of texture. Tulips, wildflowers, hydrangeas, and mini topiaries lined the table, along with dozens of ivory and glass candles. When you plan an intimate wedding, you can really focus more of your budget on the design details and guest enjoyment!
My goal is always to best serve my clients and capture all of those amazing memories for them. I was so happy to hear that Liz and Jared loved my work. Liz left me a testimonial that said, “From our very first meeting with Izzy, she presented very creative and interesting ideas for our intimate wedding. We knew we were in great hands the moment we started talking with Izzy… Not only did she capture great photos of us, but she captured incredible photos of our friends and family.” Thank you so much, Liz and Jared!
Liz and Jared’s fall wedding at Sea Island was just beautiful, and they’re such a lovely couple. I’d love to work with you too and hear all about your vision for your big day! Say hello, so we can get to know each other.
