Kat and Kevin are too cool for school. Always taking advantage of Savannah’s scene, they can be found perusing the newest at Graveface Records or rocking out at shows at Savannah’s iconic The Jinx. If you happen to run into them, they greet you with a giant hug and then promptly make sure you have a drink in hand. They’re always up for a good time and they always look perfectly cool doing it. I knew for sure that they would want to do something different for their engagement photos. Incorporating their favorite activities together, we focused on more of a lifestyle engagement session.
We started by playing at Graveface Records, a funky little record store in the Starland District of Savannah. Inside, not only will you find the latest music, but also taxidermy, skulls and other oddities. Its like a little piece of weird heaven.
Then we frolicked a bit in the squares near the Design District which houses some of Kat’s favorite boutiques.
And then naturally, we ended up at The Jinx. You’ll find The Jinx on a strip of Congress St. where most of Savannah’s bars & night clubs live. Its a little refuge for all the grungy alterna kids and is home to some of the best shows the city has to offer. Its loud and raucous and always fun. Luckily, we had the place to ourselves to create some sassy, sexy images and I love them so much!
Kat & Kevin. OMG, you’re getting married tomorrow!!!! I cannot wait to spend the day celebrating and creating some funky photos. It’s going to be amazing!
