Mariah & Christian | Rooftop Wedding at The Alida Hotel

Mariah and Christian are a Tinder success story, and their rooftop wedding was so colorful and fun. They added a lot of geometric touches too that made their wedding more unique. They tied in hexagons in their invitations, ceremony arch, escort cards, cake, and even a display behind their sweetheart table!

Intimate Rooftop Wedding

Their ceremony took place on the rooftop of The Alida Hotel, which has some gorgeous views of Downtown Savannah. It’s such a unique spot, and it’s perfect for intimate weddings. Guests are able to mingle and check out the view. When it comes to a rooftop wedding, The Alida Hotel is the ideal spot.

The couple did a first look and read their vows to each other, so it was just the two of them. I love when couples do this since they can both work through some of the pre-ceremony nerves. Plus, they get a beautiful moment just the two of them.

Fun and Personal Details

The hexagonal shelving unit from Sawdust and Sweetgrass was such a fun touch, and the guests loved it. It’s so versatile too. You could use it for a photo booth backdrop, escort card display, or floral display!

Plus, the couple’s dog, Winslow, is a dachshund-pug mix, and he was there the entire day. Christian even walked him down the aisle, and Winslow took a little snooze during the ceremony, which was so funny. Winslow had his own escort card and signature drink (the Winslow Palmer). Of course, he was also on their napkins saying, “I Do Too!” Such a cute touch. Mariah doesn’t have any tattoos, but if she ever gets one, it’ll be a portrait of Winslow.

Mariah and Christian are excited to lay down their roots in Charlotte and buy their first house together. I wish them all the best, and I’m so glad I got the chance to work with them on their rooftop wedding.
