Rubria and Ryan’s wedding is almost here, so I really wanted to celebrate their winter engagement photos before the day! They’re getting married this Friday in Chatham Square and Soho South. This couple lives in Columbus, so they actually met me in Atlanta for their Piedmont Park engagement session. We did a couple of different locations, and it was so much fun!
We started off at Piedmont Park, which is one of my favorite places to shoot. It’s Atlanta’s biggest city park, and you can tell because it’s huge. Piedmont Park is over two hundred acres right in the middle of downtown Atlanta.
The best part about Piedmont Park is that there are so many different places for amazing photos. You really have your pick of backdrops. We got some great photos of Rubria and Ryan in front of Piedmont Park’s winter trees, and we definitely took advantage of the water views! Some of my favorite shots are Rubria and Ryan on the bridge.
After their Piedmont Park photoshoot, we went to get some more shots at Woodruff Arts Center. Ryan actually proposed at Woodruff Arts Center! The best part was that we did the photos around the same time of year as Ryan’s proposal. So, we got some fun photos under the Christmas twinkle lights! The lights were an amazing backdrop, and the photos came out so good. Not to mention, we got some shots with their dog, which I always love doing!
I just love doing Piedmont Park engagement sessions. There are just so many options for backdrops, and you’re right in the center of Atlanta, so you can always head to different downtown locations.
Engagement sessions in general are always so much fun. I would love to hear from you if you’re planning your own session! Just reach out to me, so we can start prepping
