Despite a major setback, Brandi & Robbie’s Savannah Station wedding this past Spring was nothing short of incredible.
I get a call the day before the wedding from Brandi’s best friend. Everyone’s ok, but there’s been an accident. Oh my gosh! Robbie and his boys took, what they thought to be, an innocent trip to the trampoline park in Savannah as a one last boys’ hurrah. Instead, poor Robbie tore both of the tendons in his knees. He had to be rushed into emergency surgery. He was confined to a wheelchair on the day of his wedding. Like any man would do, he feared Brandi’s reaction, worrying that he had ruined their day and that he had disappointed her. Instead, Brandi remained a radiant bride. She looked onto Robbie all day with great pride and quite literally, unwavering love and commitment. It was an awesome thing to witness and I love these two for it.
The day began with the ladies at one of my favorite places for getting ready – Mirabelle Suites in downtown Savannah. From the beautiful lace Mikaella Bridal gown to the succulent filled Spring bouquet, Brandi’s details were so lovely!
Robby’s guys were some of the best – poking just the right amount of fun at the situation – and helping out when needed 100%
I always love a First Look, but Brandi & Robbie’s was particularly sweet.
Brandi gifted Robbie a wooden watch from Etsy seller TreeHut Design.
Urban Poppy did an incredible job on the floral wedding arch, softening the dark space at Savannah Station.
Custom coozies explaining how they met, succulent favors, a taco bar and the grooviest duwop band in Savannah, The Hypnotics, made for a fun reception!
