Jenna and David started as friends while both working on their masters in Spanish at UGA. That friendship grew stronger and more intimate and they quickly realized the perfect match they had found in one another. When they became engaged, they both knew they wanted a botanical garden wedding.
The grounds at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia are breathtaking. On top of that, it houses The Day chapel, a beautiful little church that was the perfect spot for Jenna and David’s heartfelt ceremony.
Before putting on her own wedding dress, Jenna put on her mother’s wedding dress for a few photos. I thought this was such a sweet gesture to honor her mom!
With a botanical garden wedding, you’d expect lots of blooms. However, the area around The Day Chapel is more woodsy. This was perfect since it was a hot summer day and I quite love the forest feel these portraits have!
Jenna and David’s ceremony was so intimate and moving, it wasn’t just Jenna that they had in tears.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a lunch reception at Trump’s Catering with dancing and a bubble exit!
