Mary and I did a UGA senior session for her final year, and it was so much fun to walk around campus and take photos! Senior sessions are a great way to commemorate your time at college and get some amazing photos of yourself. You can create a great senior session with the right locations and the right props!
UGA has such a beautiful campus. I shoot there often for both family sessions and engagement sessions. There are so many amazing locations and backdrops that you can use for senior sessions too! Some popular locations for senior photos at UGA are the arch, Herty Field and its gorgeous fountain, Sanford Stadium, and the chapel bell. Mary and I hit all the best locations, including getting some great shots at the stadium. I love the photos of her in the fountain and surrounded by the columns.
I love including props in your senior session. They can really add to your photos, and Mary used them so well! I recommend any sort of regalia from grad to sorority. Your grad cap is always a perfect option! Not to mention, sports attire from a school jersey to pom poms. Anything specific to your major, team, or extracurricular activities is always best too. And don’t forget to pop the champagne!
I love how Mary’s UGA senior session came out! If you’re looking to book your college senior session, do it soon! March is the best time because the campus won’t be so busy with photos yet. It gets slightly busier in April, and come May, it’s often too late. There are one hour plus long lines for each photo opp on campus. You can only book senior sessions for weekdays, so be sure to book yours ASAP! I’d love to hear from you!
