UGA Botanical Gardens Family Session

Years ago, Megan reached out to ask me to shoot her wedding, but I was unavailable at the time. So, imagine how excited I was to be able to do this UGA Botanical Gardens family session with her! Megan told me she’d been a long-time follower of my work, and she and her mother had always wanted for me to do a portrait session with them. They were so kind to come to me in Athens, and we had the sweetest session ever.

Botanical Gardens Family Session

I love shooting at the Botanical Gardens at the University of Georgia! It gives me an opportunity to shoot near home, and it’s such a beautiful location. For this session, we really took advantage of the different types of greenery around the Gardens. The gorgeous trees made for an amazing backdrop, and I love the pictures with the little bridge. The occasional flowers make for the perfect touch of color too. The Botanical Gardens are just perfect for a photoshoot like this.

Capturing Family

This session made me fall in love with this family so much. These four are so loving and genuine. They spent the whole session giggly and cuddly. It makes me happy to see a family so strong. We made sure to get pictures of everyone together, along with pictures of every possible pair. I wanted to capture how warm the family was and send them home with those beautiful memories.
