I knew Rachel and Rob from photographing their wedding at Georgian Terrace Hotel, and I was so honored when they came back for Rachel’s Atlanta Botanical Garden maternity session! It’s always so much fun when I get to see families grow, and I love serving as my clients’ photographer as they go through the different stages of life.
Atlanta Botanical Garden is a gorgeous retreat in the middle of Midtown. It includes 30 acres of gardens and woods, and it’s a great location for all types of families. Not only can you visit the different beautiful gardens, but they hold exhibitions and events. I’ve done photography sessions at Atlanta Botanical Garden before, and I was excited to go back!
We spent some time in the serene woods before moving on to the gardens. The yellow daises were the perfect backdrop for Rachel’s maternity photos. The beautiful stone bridge made for an ideal spot for some maternity photos too. We focused mostly on Rachel, but Rob also joined the session for some lovely couple photos.
Rachel looked so gorgeous in a white gown with ruffled sleeves and intricate feather detailing. The dress is from Baltic Born, and it worked perfectly for her. I just love a good maternity session gown! I’m currently working on creating a collection of long, flowy, and flattering dresses for my maternity session clients. These dresses are in neutral colors and work for all sizes. Best of all, my Client Closet is completely complimentary! If you love Rachel’s gown, you’re in luck! She’s sending her dress, so we can use it in the Client Closet, which we so appreciate.
I loved working with Rachel and Rob again on their Atlanta Botanical Garden maternity session. If you’re looking for your own Atlanta maternity session, I would love to hear from you! If you’re looking for some more maternity session inspiration, you should check out our new Instagram account!
