Czerepak Family | Augusta Family Session

So, bear with me because this gets a little complicated. Rachel was college besties with Megan, a gal I worked with while living in Madrid. Megan lives outside of Boston now with her husband and two babies. Meanwhile, Rachel lives in Augusta where her husband is doing his residency. Rachel and I bonded over knowing Megan, being moms of boys, and living in the south. Rachel has a two-month-old named Charlie and an older boy named Nolan. I was so glad to get the opportunity to do their Augusta family session!

Augusta Family Session

For this Augusta family session, we headed to Savannah Rapids Park. It’s such a pretty park with lots of trails and river views! We chose a more private trail along the river. A park is such a great place to do a session with kids. Being outside typically helps them relax and have fun. They can just play and forget about the camera. This takes the pressure off getting their pictures taken. One of my favorite pictures is Nolan and the dad, Jonathan, skipping rocks in the river.

After Rapids Park, we took a stop at their home. We wanted a few newborn pictures of the boys in their bed. This turned out to be a great idea because the pictures came out so sweet. They both look so content. It was so cute to see how Nolan interacts with Charlie. He’s going to be a great brother.

As a fellow momma to two boys, I loved being able to bond with Rachel over her wonderful family. I just enjoy being a part of family sessions.
