December Puente Trip to Poland – Travel Photography

In Spain, Monday and Wednesday are holidays.  When this happens, Tuesday is also given as a holiday and its called a Puente.  Since we only work Mondays through Thursdays, we took Thursday off as well to give us a very looooong week off.  Last year, for this puente, we spent a sunny week in Rocio and Sevilla, Spain and Faro, Portugal.  Here’s a picture of us enjoying the beach in Faro.

But this year, seeing as how we have seen most of Western Europe, we decided to venture east and we headed to Poland! We have just spent our first two days in Warsaw where the high has been 16 degrees Farenheit.  I froze to death, and so did my camera, literally.  I didnt know this, but apparently, in temperatures this low, cameras may not work.  Anyway, despite the cold, Poland is beautiful and the food is amazing.  And of course the hot spiced wine is divine!  And the people we stayed with are wonderful!!!!
