Fall Elopement in Forsyth Park

October 12, 2021

Gosh, I love these two! Their Fall elopement in Forsyth Park is probably my favorite elopement to date! This couple is just so playful and GORGEOUS. We did their engagement session at Black Balsam Knob outside of Asheville, and I’m so glad I got to shoot their elopement too! They originally wanted to properly elope, just the two of them. But their parents invited themselves along and it made the day even sweeter.

A Classic Bridal Look

Meg’s bridal day look was so cute! She chose a classic satin gown with a sweep train. It was so timeless, and it looked amazing with Cedric’s black suit. I love that Meg let her personality shine with her accessories! She chose pearl-covered Converse and a feather clutch. At the end of the elopement, she put on a custom jean jacket that said Mrs. Corbett in pearl letters. She also wore a custom bracelet made by Cedric’s dad.

Ivory + Beau knocked the bouquet out of the park! It had the perfect fall palette with a boho touch. It was draped in gold leaves and eucalyptus, and it was filled with white and cream roses. The touch of bleached Ruscus added texture.

We chose to do their portraits before the elopement ceremony, so we had lots of time for these cuties! They got ready a few blocks from Forsyth Park, so we made stops in the squares along the way. And of course, we made sure to find some fun greenery-covered walls! Not to mention, Cedric drove his vintage car down from NC to use for portraits. It was the perfect time before this amazing couple said I Do.

Meg and Cedric are just so much fun and an absolute joy to work with. Their love for each other really radiates from their photos. They just look like they’re having a blast! I loved working with them on their Fall elopement in Forsyth Park. It was such a beautiful day.

I’d love to capture your love story too! Meeting new couples is my favorite, and I work hard to give them an amazing experience. I can’t wait to hear from you!
