Fall Wedding at Garibaldi’s

Brittany and JW’s wedding at Garibaldi’s was so pretty, and I’m so grateful that I got to be a part of it! They held their ceremony at the historic Harper Fowlkes House before moving their celebration over to Garibaldi’s in downtown Savannah. Their wedding reception made me realize how much I enjoy shooting receptions at Garibaldi’s – the space is lovely, and the light bounces around in there so nicely because of the windows! Brittany and JW’s celebration was full of joy, color, and fun details like classic cars!

Colorful Wedding at Garibaldi’s

While this wedding took place in October, Brittany and JW wanted it to be filled with pops of colors, including my favorite, hot pink! Urban Poppy created her a gorgeous bouquet filled with blush, fuchsia, and burgundy flowers and with draping greenery. Ivory and Beau, along with Urban Poppy, transformed Garibaldi’s into a gorgeous, colorful reception space. Another interesting detail was their vintage cake topper is worth mentioning. It’s a family heirloom, and many women in Brittany’s family have used it for their own weddings, which I love.

Garibaldi’s was the perfect choice, especially since it is in the heart of Savannah, steps from City Market. This fire station-turned-swanky cafe is one of the most unique venues in Savannah! As soon as you walk upstairs, you are surrounded by glittering gold accents, gleaming wood, and an original tin ceiling that is to die for! The mirrored walls really let the light bounce around. It’s glamorous and formal but with a hint of southern charm. Not only is it gorgeous inside, but it’s one of the best restaurants in Savannah! The southern-inspired cuisine is incredible, and your guests will rave about it for years to come.
