Family Session in The Landings Savannah

This family session in The Landings was a great experience for the whole family. As a photographer, I am not just here to take pictures. I am here to preserve stories and create memories! There are so many irreplaceable milestones that should be captured for you to cherish for years to come. That is why I value family sessions so much! As your family grows and your kids grow up, it’s so important to document every little step.

I recently got to do a family session for my sweet friends Jill and Eric. When we moved home from Spain in 2012, they were our neighbors when we were living with Martin’s parents. We instantly connected. Over the years, they have started their own family and moved out to the Landings. This area is outside of Savannah and is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the South! Located on Skidaway Island, this area is filled with incredible oaks and magnolia trees.

With such a gorgeous backdrop, we really just had fun walking around and capturing the family interacting together. Delegal Creek runs behind this area, so we also got some shots of the coastal marsh. Their two daughters had so much fun running around and dancing! My favorite moments are the unposed ones, where we let the kids have fun and play.
