Historic Savannah Family Session

I photographed Beth and Blake’s wedding years ago. So, I was so tickled to photograph their sweet little girls when they visited Savannah again for vacation. We had so much fun on this Historic Savannah family session, and it was lovely to spend time with Beth and Blake again.

Having a Comfortable Family Session

Sometimes parents feel stressed at the prospect of a family session. There can be a lot involved from booking the right photographer to picking out outfits to making sure the kids are all in good moods. As a momma of two boys, I totally understand! For my family sessions, I work to make sure everyone is relaxed. Don’t worry about posing the kids or about me getting the perfect shot. Just focus on being silly together and cuddling, and I’ll do the rest! The best photos are the ones that are unposed and unplanned. Let your kids just be in the moment! I’ll take care of the rest.

Historic Savannah Family Session

For the Crawford family session, we just focused on having fun and playing around together! It was so sweet seeing their two girls hold hands and give each other kisses.

We started right on Bay Street by Upper Factors Walk. This is a perfect spot since there is lush greenery that is a great backdrop, and it normally isn’t too crowded. It’s just two blocks away from Reynolds Square and The Olde Pink House! So, you get a gorgeous Square and the iconic pink walls as your backdrop. It makes the perfect combo!

When looking for spots in downtown Savannah, keep your kiddos’ age in mind. Most will not want to walk a long distance, so I suggest keeping it to a single Square or within two to three blocks.
