Colorful Summer Wedding at Charles H Morris Center

Olivia and Jonathan were supposed to get married last year, but, like many, they had to reschedule due to Covid. They’re American, but they currently live in Switzerland. I was so excited to see them again after having done their engagement session! This time I got to photograph the whole family. My favorite moments were of Olivia, Jonathan, and their sweet two boys. Seeing them as a family was such a joy, especially as a fellow momma to two boys. Olivia and Jonathan had a summer wedding at Charles H Morris Center, and it turned out amazing!

Amazing Savannah Wedding Vendors

This wedding had a dream team of vendors! Curating a great team of vendors for your wedding day is so important since there are so many details to take care of. Crystal at Tara Skinner Events designed and planned everything perfectly. Harvey Designs created the most incredible, colorful, and showstopping flowers! Not to mention, the cake by Vanilla and the Bean was not just insanely gorgeous but also so delicious. Vanilla and the Bean always make sure their cakes are tasty, and I love when I get to try them!

Summer Wedding at Charles H Morris Center

For their May wedding, Olivia and Jonathan chose a colorful summer-inspired palette of orange, pink, purple, and yellow. Olivia’s bouquet was filled with marigold ranunculus, blush garden roses, and pops of purple and blue delphinium.

Their ceremony took place facing the fountain at Forsyth Park, which is such an iconic spot in Savannah. I absolutely love when clients pick this as their ceremony spot! The lighting is always so beautiful since there are large oak trees that line the sidewalks.

The couple utilized all three spaces at The Charles H Morris Center. This venue is always popular, and it is located right in Historic Savannah. Their cocktail hour took place in their outdoor lawn and their covered patio, which is such a great space. It lets guests have covered and uncovered areas and allows them to mingle.
