Lexi and Scott’s spring Telfair Square wedding wasn’t just filled with gorgeous colors and details, but with so many heartfelt moments! You might remember this sweet couple from their Cater Woolford Gardens engagement session. Lexi and Scott met while she was at school at Jacksonville State University. Lexi was bartending the night she met Scott, and she wrote her name and number on a cocktail napkin and gave it to him. Scott called the next day, and the rest is history! The couple now lives in Atlanta, with their two dogs, Cooper and Jackson.
Scott says of Lexi, “I truly haven’t met anyone that I can say cares about me and our happiness more than what she does. Her will to keep us going and make sure we know what is important in our relationship is something that I rely on. “
For their spring wedding, they chose a color palette of soft pinks, rose gold, and lots of cream and greenery. Harvey Designs created bouquets filled with orchids, ranunculus, and eucalyptus. The flower girl even wore the sweetest flower crown, that matched the blush bridesmaids! Scott and his groomsmen wore a super unique color- olive green! I just love how the olive-green suits looked with brown shoes and purple orchid boutonnieres! It was such a fun color combination.
To help with the planning of their Telfair Square ceremony and Hyatt Regency reception, they worked with Crystal Brooks at Tara Skinner Events. Tara Skinner Events is one of the premier planners in Savannah, and always make sure the wedding not just looks good, but runs like clockwork.
Lexi’s family is Italian and is all about family. So it was so meaningful for her to do a first look with her dad. He had the sweetest reaction to seeing her! Before the ceremony, we took portraits of the bridal party by River St, in downtown Savannah. Their ceremony took place in Telfair Square, which is in the heart of downtown. They had the most incredible ceremony arch, covered in wisteria! It was one of the prettiest wedding backdrops I have photographed!
Their reception took place at Hyatt Regency Savannah in the Harborside Ballroom. The touches of gold and rose gold were throughout the ballroom, with beautiful centerpieces by Harvey Designs. Their incredible cake was by Wicked Cakes of Savannah, which had dripping gold details, and was covered in real flowers. One of the most fun parts of the night was when Lexi’s dad came out singing to her for their father-daughter dance! He loves to sing, so he even sang the “Italian Wedding Song” to get the party started after dinner. It was such a great way to kick off an incredible party!
