Macy and Matthew came to Savannah for their engagement session, and knew they wanted it to feel oh so Savannah! The two are from Alabama, but love Savannah! So much that they are getting married this Spring here. First, we started at Forsyth Park, which is perfectly Savannah! Forsyth Fountain is right in the middle of the park and is always beautiful in pictures. We walked around the park to get some portraits, and even had Macy hop in some oak trees!
After, we explored downtown Savannah, and made sure to get pictures in front of the historic homes. There are so many beautiful porches and stairs to choose from. One of my newest favorite spots is The Armstrong House. This beautiful building has been under renovations for a few years, and looks stunning! It has lots of white marble and stone, with brass gates.
Wormsloe Engagement Session
Next, we headed to Wormsloe for some more formal portraits. The couple did a quick change, and Macy put on a beautiful dress dress. Wormsloe is always a couple favorite for engagement shots (Check out Carly and Colin’s session at Wormsloe for more inspiration!). Macy and Matthew had so much fun, and just loved dressing up and cuddling up. My favorite shots are when we headed to the main gate at Wormsloe, and Matthew picked Macy up! She just loved it, and couldn’t stop laughing! I love photographing moments like these!
