Modern Dusty Blue Wedding at Ships Of The Sea

Ships of the Sea is an absolutely gorgeous venue that’s located in downtown Savannah. Despite being right downtown, you can easily forget about the city because the garden is so big and beautiful. It’s actually the largest private garden in Historic Savannah! They have tons of different plants and flowers from lush greenery to azaleas to boxwood. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of being able to work with some amazing people on a styled shoot there!

Stunning Wedding Gown

The bride wore the most incredible gown by Allison Webb. She wore the Josette Tunic, which is the perfect gown for the fashionista who loves a little bit of sparkle. This sheer, mock turtleneck tunic is encrusted with pearls and crystals throughout the bodice. Billowing bishop sleeves and sweep train complete this masterpiece. The sheer overlay allowed the bride’s amazing tattoos to really shine too!

Reception at Ships of the Sea

This reception, planned by Whitewood Events, came out so wonderful! The cornerstone of the reception was definitely the custom and delicious cake by Vanilla and the Bean. For our Ships of the Sea styled shoot, she created a three-tier cake decorated with pearls and flowers. It came out beautiful!

The blue details of this shoot really rounded out everything. The groom’s tux was amazing and fit in perfectly with the table décor. The flowers, complete with pampas grass, cream roses, and white flowers, were the perfect addition. Madeline Read stepped up to the flowers, and I love them so much!

Ships of the Sea is definitely a hidden gem within Savannah. It’s just so lovely, and I’m so grateful that I got the opportunity to be a part of a styled shoot there.
