What happens when you get two stylish people looking to do a destination elopement? You get the most gorgeous, sweetest, and most stylish elopement! Cem and Caylea both live in NYC, but wanted somewhere special for their elopement. They chose Savannah, which is the perfect mix of historic charm, with luxury accommodations. When selecting their venue, they found the perfect combination at Hamilton-Turner Inn! This is one of my favorite gems in Savannah. Each room is different, with different themes and colors. Throughout the Inn are gorgeous wallpaper and vintage furniture. It sits on Lafayette Square, one of the cutest squares in Savannah. (Want to see some more inspiration at Lafayette Square? Check out this fun elopement!)
Since the couple was traveling from NYC with their dog, Bear, they wanted a place that was pet-friendly. They also wanted a space that had accommodations on-site, since Cem is from Turkey, and his parents would be flying in for the elopement. The Hamilton-Turner house was such a great choice since the rooms are all gorgeous, and they offer incredible breakfast each morning.
The best part is that Hamilton-Turner Inn offers a great elopement package. You can enjoy three days and two nights at the Inn, with a ceremony inside the Inn, a bridal boutique and boutonniere, plus a delicious cake by Wicked Cakes. And to top it off, you get a bottle of champagne to celebrate!
Caylea wore the most gorgeous dress by Lela Rose. It was a soft creamy blush, with all-over beaded embellishments that added a touch of sparkle. The off the should cuff neckline was such a classic touch! Cem wore a dark suit with a matching blush shirt and opted to go without a tie.
After the couple said I Do inside the Inn, we took a minute to celebrate with some champagne and delicious cake! They had so much fun, and were just so happy to be together with their family for this important day. After the elopement, we walked around Lafayette Square for some gorgeous portraits. Of course, we had to include their pup, Bear! We even got a few of him inside hanging out on the bed as they got ready. After a trip to Forsyth Park, we walked over to one of my favorite spots, Perry Lane Hotel. Their library and piano room is absolutely incredible, with deep teal walls, mid-century furniture, and the coolest lighting. So I made sure we stopped by for a few more portraits.
Caylea is very inspired by fashion (as you can see by her gorgeous Lela Rose dress!) So she wanted her images to have an editorial feel. This is my absolute favorite style, so it was so wonderful shooting these editorial portraits, that was filled with so much emotion. Congratulations, Caylea and Cem!
