This sweet couple is getting married this weekend, so I wanted to share their sweet engagement session! While their wedding had to be postponed, Natalee and JJ are so excited to finally tie the knot. They are getting married on Sea Island, and my associate, Hannah will be shooting their beautiful day!
For their engagement session, we did two different locations. We started their session at Crane’s Cottage on Jekyll Island. This is one of the prettiest spots on the island, that has a gorgeous courtyard. The huge oak trees are draped in Spanish Moss and are just magical as the sun sets. Additionally, you get a water view! For this location, they chose a formal outfit. JJ wore a blue suit with a vest and tie. Likewise, Natalee wore a stunning black gown with asymmetrical sleeves and a fun slit. It was gorgeous!
After taking pictures are Crane’s Cottage, we headed to Driftwood Beach. This is one of my favorite spots in Georgia, and I love shooting engagement sessions here! The beach has such a unique backdrop and isn’t your typical beach. You can sit on the old weathered tree stumps, and it just adds so much drama to your shots. They changed into more casual outfits for the beach, which let them really have fun and play! Obviously, when you are at the beach, you just have to kick off your shoes and get your toes wet. We got a few portraits with the trees, as well as some of them dancing as the sunset. The sky turned a beautiful cotton-candy pink and really was breathtaking.
I can’t wait for this sweet wedding! We love shooting at Sea Island and would love to capture your wedding day. Both Hannah and I are booking quickly for 2022, so reach out today!
