This sweet family signed up for my Spring mini sessions this year, and I have just fallen in love with them! For this Spring family session, we spent some time in downtown Savannah, particularly in front of Olde Pink House. It was so much fun and made all the more fun by how stylish the family was.
This mom has great style when it comes to creating outfits for her family and styling her home! She picked out some amazing outfits, and they all work so well together. Coordinating outfits always makes your photos look better and more cohesive.
When picking outfits for your family session, you always want to pick a color palette that complements your home, specifically where your plan on hanging your photos. People don’t often think about where their photos will go before a photo shoot. But it’s so important!
When in doubt, stick with neutral colors! This family chose neutral pastels. So, they matched the fun pastel safari wallpaper in the children’s nursery! This means the photos go perfectly with where they chose to hang them. Not to mention, they looked amazing with the downtown Savannah backdrops!
The Browns really wanted to make sure the photos of their Spring family session went perfectly with their home. Every portrait session includes a gallery wall design consultation, so I was able to make certain of that! During this consultation, I upload a photo of your wall and calibrate it to size. Then, I can show you specific gallery wall ideas using your photos and the actual wall in your home. This way we can know what products and what sizes will look best!
Working with an amazing family always makes a Spring family session such a joy! Helping them figure out how to make those photos look the best in their home is just a bonus. If you’re interested in your own family session and gallery wall, I’d love to hear from you!
