Meg and Cedric are one of my most favorite couples in the whole wide world! I photographed their engagement session out of Ashville, their elopement in Savannah, and now, their maternity session on Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island. It was such a joy to see them again, and their Jekyll Island maternity session came out so good! I’m so excited to share it with you.
I love holding sessions on Jekyll Island! It’s just a short drive from Savannah, and Driftwood Beach is one of the best locations on the Island. It’s full of large and old driftwood that makes for some gorgeous scenery. It’s one of the most romantic beaches in the country, so it’s perfect for couples’ sessions. But it’s also a great location for family and maternity sessions!
We went at sunset for Meg and Cedric’s session, and the lighting was perfect. Whenever I photograph a maternity session, I always make sure to get some couple’s portraits as well as solo portraits of the future mom. This session was no different. Meg looked beautiful in her two gowns, and Cedric looked great too, while still letting Meg shine!
I love it when couples bring me back to photograph all the family milestones! Meg and Cedric have even signed up for the Baby’s First Year Collective, which we’ve recently revamped to include special treatment for mom!
Just like before, the Collective comes with 3-4 portrait sessions and assistance with picking out your heirloom products. But now, mom gets hair and makeup for the newborn session and personalized wardrobe styling, plus access to my curated Client Closet for each session. To top it all off, you get complimentary album credit at each session’s Reveal to build your Baby’s First Year album. It’s the best way to document the first year of your little one’s life!
Meg and Cedric’s Jekyll Island maternity session was a lovely evening full of perfect moments to capture. I’m so glad I got to work with them again, and I’d love to work with your family too! Reach out to me and let me know how I can best serve your beautiful family.
