I have been photographing Jessica and Tim for many years now! I first did their engagement session back in 2015. Then, I got to be a part of their wedding and their first baby pictures. And recently, I got to do their newest family member’s newborn session at Savannah Rapids Park! This sweet couple wanted some family portraits as well as images of their newborn, so we combined the two.
For their family shoot, the Buffkins chose Savannah Rapids Park in Augusta, a place I love shooting in. Savannah Rapids Park is a large thirty-three acres, and it’s beautiful. It’s along the Augusta Canal and Reed Creek waterfall, and it has tons of trails and a playground. If you walk along the trails, you can even make it all the way down to downtown Augusta. It’s perfect for a family session.
We took advantage of Savannah Rapids Park’s natural foliage and got some great shots on the trail. The trees provide an excellent backdrop. We also got some waterfront shots, which always turn out lovely. It was so nice to see them all together and to see the affectionate relationship between the new siblings. There’s so much love in these photos!
Jessica and Tim wanted to make sure they had heirloom products of this sweet Savannah Rapids Park family session that they could display in their home! We worked together to create their albums, which turned out so nice. They chose a linen album in a soft gray. We only work with professional, boutique print labs who are committed to providing excellent hand-crafted products that will last for generations!
Family sessions are always so sweet and fun to shoot. I love getting to watch kids enjoy themselves and see how families interact with each other. It’s a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for your own family session, so you can hold on to some wonderful memories, reach out today! We’d love to be a part of it.
