Kat and Mike live in Atlanta and are friends of Emma and Hurst who got married in 2019. Kat and Mike were supposed to get married last year. But of course, they had to reschedule because of Covid. Now that they’re getting married this October, we had the extra time to do an engagement session together! Since they are getting married at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, we thought it would be fun to use the ones in Athens for their engagement session. So, we headed over to UGA Botanical Gardens!
The great thing about the Botanical Gardens at the University of Georgia is that there are so many places that you can go. They have a variety of gardens. This is perfect for photoshoots because you have multiple backdrops to choose from. We walked around the UGA Botanical Gardens just having fun and finding the perfect spots for great photos.
As your photographer, I never want you to feel uncomfortable, so I won’t put you in poses that make you feel awkward. My goal is to always put my clients at ease. So, I’ll often use little prompts or games to make it fun and romantic. Sometimes the most difficult part of getting your picture taken is knowing what to do or where to look, but no worries! I’ll never leave you hanging! I’ll always customize everything to you and the vibes you’re giving out. For this engagement session, Kat is a dancer, so it was natural for her to spin around and dance with Mike. And those turned out to be my favorite images!
When picking your engagement spot, Georgia has so many places to choose from. While I am living in Athens, I travel to Atlanta, Savannah, Jekyll Island, and the Golden Isles! So, whether you want a garden feel at UGA Botanical Gardens, an at-home session, or even a beachside engagement shoot, we can help create amazing images for you! Just say hello!
