Earlier this year, I shared the first part of Olivia and Jimmy’s engagement session, which took place at the Byron Courthouse in Denver. And now I’m excited to share the second half of their engagement session! The couple wanted to embrace their love of winters in Colorado, so we did the shoot outdoors. I love traveling the world as a wedding photographer! Whether you want to explore the beauty of the Low Country, or the Rocky Mountains, I love to photograph it all.
Olivia and Jimmy live in Denver but had their wedding in Savannah this past fall. So when it came to locations, they took the lead! They wanted an outdoor spot with views of Denver while also incorporating their love of hiking. Since the first half of their engagement session was formal, we had them change into cozy sweaters and jackets for the snowy mountains.
Lookout Mountain is outside of Denver and provides such scenic views. It’s also a quick drive from the city, so it’s perfect for engagement sessions or a quick morning hike. Since the area tends to be busy with hikers, we chose a few off-the-beaten paths so that it was private. We also drove around for a few different spots, so we got some unique backdrops! Since we were there shortly before sunset, we got the perfect golden hour glow. And while it was windy at times, my favorite shots are with them running, the wind blowing, and the two just holding hands so happy and in love.
I can’t wait to share Olivia and Jimmy’s wedding with you all! If you are planning a wedding in Georgia but live elsewhere, I can always travel to you for your engagement session. Just say hello and let me know how I can best serve you!
